🎉 A wonderful day for our T-Bar/Café Relaunch! ☕🍰

We were delighted to welcome the Mayor, Councillor Sandra Barnes, and her husband Peter Barnes to join us today as we celebrated the relaunch of our T-Bar/Café.

The Mayor enjoyed sampling some of the delicious tasters on offer, including a choice of soups, fish pie, cottage pie and sausage casserole, followed by a selection of cakes – including a sugar-free option. 😋🍲🥧🍰

It was lovely to see the T-Bar/Café busy and to have the opportunity to showcase some of the tasty food that will be on offer.

A huge thank you to the Mayor and Peter for coming along and supporting us, and to everyone who helped make today's relaunch such a success. 💐

We look forward to welcoming lots of familiar faces – and hopefully some new ones too – to enjoy the T-Bar/Café! ❤️

🚗 Can You Help? 🙏🏼

We're hoping our wonderful local community might be able to help one of our amazing volunteers.

On Tuesday 1st July, one of our volunteers was giving her time at the Age Concern Carlton charity shop, as she has been doing for many years.
She parked her silver VW Polo on Albert Avenue, before starting her shift, but when she returned, she discovered that another vehicle had collided with her car and driven away without leaving any details 😔.

If you were in the area that day and saw the collision, caught it on dashcam, or have any information at all, however small it may seem, we would be incredibly grateful if you could get in touch 🙏🏼.

Please send us a private message via this page.

We know the chances are slim, but with the power of our local community, we're hoping someone may have seen something.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and we'd really appreciate it if you could share this post to help us reach as many people as possible. ❤️
