The 15th International Myotonic Dystrophy Consortium meeting is underway.
Holding this year’s conference in Saguenay (Québec) feels especially meaningful: a region whose history, families, and scientific legacy have shaped global understanding of myotonic dystrophy.

The Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group is proud to have supported a dedicated group of researchers, clinicians, and physiotherapists in joining this important gathering.

Dr Oliver Orji will present his work on developing treatment for Myotonic Dystrophy type 1 by using a library of tiny chemical pieces found in nature and in drugs.
