It was so kind of Sharewear Clothing Scheme to support our Roma event. Little Leo was so keen to wear his yellow sweat shirt he couldn't take it off despite the 30° heat!

Had great fun today with lots of good people helping out. Thanks to our volunteers Tahirah and Andreea and Councillor Cllr Shuguftah Quddoos and to the many organisations who took the time to meet members of our Roma community. Special thanks to Haylos Glitter Girls for the face painting - you made a lot of kids (and grown ups) very happy.

A rare public post to let you know we're still going!
You may recall we've been working with the Roma community since 2015.
With that in mind, we are looking for volunteers for a Roma Cultural event we are co-ordinating in Hyson Green on 29th July.
Travel costs and all the tea and (posh) biscuits you can quaff will be provided plus the usual warm welcome.
