You don’t have to be “good” at it to enjoy it. Art is a great way to express yourself, explore your creativity, and take some time for your wellbeing.

Join us at our weekly art sessions every Wednesday from 10am–3pm at 27–31 Carlton Road. Whether you’re interested in painting, drawing, poetry, or trying something new like air-dry clay, everyone is welcome.

It’s mental health awareness week and we’re sharing creative expressions from our community 💚🎨

In this video, our operations director, Angela, talks about a painting she made during our art sessions and what it means to her. The second part of this video we got talented musician _music to share how the painting made her feel.

Sometimes reaching out to someone who’s struggling can feel difficult. “How are you?” can feel too open-ended, and often gets a quick “I’m fine.”

Especially during Mental Health Awareness Week, it’s important to remember that small gestures can mean everything — sending a check-in text, sharing a meal, inviting someone for a walk, or simply reminding them you’re thinking of them 🤍
