The Society for all Woodwind, Brass, Percussion, Double Bass, and Big Band Jazz Players. Like us to keep up to date with our news and upcoming events!

Blowsoc features a variety of different ensembles, two auditioned and seven non-auditioned, made up of Wind, Brass and Percussion players from the University of Nottingham. There are numerous managerial and conducting opportunities, including being involved in the professionally conducted Wind Orchestra. We hold numerous concerts throughout the year, ranging from jazz by the Moonlighters Big Band to symphonic Wind Orchestra pieces and the annual Tour to Europe is a highlight of the Blowsoc calendar!
