πŸ“Š May Appointment Statistics – Thank You for Your Support! πŸ’š

During May 2026, our clinicians saw an incredible 1,843 patients, helping people access the care and support they needed. Thank you to everyone who attended their appointments and worked with us to keep services running smoothly.

Unfortunately, we also had:

❌ 96 Did Not Attend (DNA) appointments
πŸ“ž 143 cancelled appointments
⏰ A total of 30.5 hours of clinical time wasted due to missed appointments

To put that into perspective, 30.5 hours is time that could have been used to provide additional appointments for patients waiting to be seen.

πŸ“ˆ Previous months' wasted appointment time:

February: 24.5 hours
March: 40 hours
April: 24.5 hours
May: 30.5 hours
How can we improve together?

βœ”οΈ Make a note of your appointment as soon as you book it.
βœ”οΈ Add reminders to your phone or calendar.
βœ”οΈ Check your contact details are up to date so you receive appointment reminders.
βœ”οΈ If you no longer need your appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible.
βœ”οΈ Wherever possible, give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel.

Every cancelled appointment that is released in advance can often be offered to another patient who needs care.

πŸ’š Thank you to the vast majority of patients who attend their appointments or let us know when they cannot make it. Your support and understanding help us provide the best possible service for everyone.

πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’™ A huge well done to two of our lovely staff members who recently completed the Sherwood Smash 10K Race, running for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
