It is always such a lovely treat to recieve freshly picked herbs like this Rosemary from Forest Recreation Ground Community Garden who deliver us weekly gifts picked on community walks & the beautiful flowers Edwalton Food Hub CIC have been delivering. Combined with these blue skies, it really feels like Spring has entered the building. Thank you so much to Edith and her team & Emma for all of her hard work. We are so grateful 🌼🌸🌺🌷🌹🪻🪷

A huge thank you to the Greggs Foundation for awarding us a £3,000 grant to support our work in the community. 💙

We’re also incredibly grateful to Greggs employees who voted for our project, thanks to your support our funding has been increased to £4,000! 🙌

This funding will help us keep preparing delicious, nutritious meals for people in our community who need them most, and continue creating a welcoming space for everyone who walks through our door.

From all our volunteers and service users, thank you for believing in our work.

There’s always something good coming out of the kitchen here. This week’s meat option felt like a second Christmas dinner, and the vegetarian dish was full of flavour as ever. Using only what’s donated on the day, our chefs cook proper hot meals, fresh each afternoon.

If you’re experiencing homelessness or financial difficulties, we serve hot food Tuesday to Thursday at 4pm.

There are simply not enough words to express the gratitude we have for ✨

Ever since we lost our funding they have kept us afloat, with the food donations flowing, bringing a variety of treats including cakes and biscuits, but also lots of fruits & veggies! A well rounded meal is always in store after their deliveries and we don’t know what we’d do without them.

A special thanks to Emma, Hayley and Marcus for all the hard work they do. Lots of love from SFiCE 🧡

The SFiCE Christmas fundraiser at The Old Coach House Southwell 🎄

Pictured is the quiz team whose member won our Christmas cake raffle, alongside Mark, landlord of The Old Coach House.

Quiz participants also donated generously to our collection box and gave tins, sleeping bags and duvets. The donation pot came to a whopping total of £176.34, we appreciate the generous festive spirit ✨

Thank you to Mark for supporting SFiCE! Also to Simon Hollingsworth (featured in his amazing hat), and to the lovely Catherine for baking the Christmas cake and assisting with pigs in blankets and much much more for our Christmas dinner.

Thank you to everyone who donated or bought a raffle ticket 😁
