To whom it may concern:

RAFFA International Development Agency is a registered charity that has been in existence since 2006. During this time, we have responded to countless relief efforts both nationally and internationally. We do this in collaboration with like-minded individuals and organisations.

Our engagement with Voice of Vision began when we were actively involved in supporting people through the Windrush Scandal and liaising with the Home Office to support affected individuals. We were simultaneously supporting efforts aboard and held discussions with Gwen about how we could actively support the work including the productions presented under Echoes of the Front room. We have been vicariously supporting this effort for years by buying tickets, and sponsoring individuals to attend.

In the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa we are actively collaborating with partners, individuals, groups, faith and other organisations in an effort to provide the much need support to those on the ground in Jamaica. This takes collaboration with agencies, shipping and distribution as well as those who can physically go and offer physical support.

We see this as an opportunity to collaborate with you for the good of the people both here in the UK and ultimately in Jamaica.

I will be going to Jamaica at the end of November to offer support and to assess the need and to see where we, as a charity with our partners can have major impact.

Thank you for considering partnering with RAFFA International Development Agency.

I am currently working with an international agency, mobalising national support for JA through the Voice of Vision Community Project.

The RAFFA charity has been working on the ground in Jamaica for many years. VOV are focussing our efforts on medical aid. From clinics to major hospitals. This will be an ongoing project. - Gwen Madden
