How come a barbaric cruel so called tradition is still acceptable in other countries!? 😡👎👎
Mexico City effectively ended traditional, violent bullfighting in March 2025 by passing a historic ban on killing or injuring bulls in the ring. 👍🙏
While spectacles are still allowed to continue at the iconic Plaza México (the world's largest bullring), they have been transformed into "bloodless" events.

Canada (allows only bloodless Portuguese-style events without killing)

Colombia (enforcing a nationwide prohibition)

🐒🐘 At a zoo in Texas, USA, a small monkey baffled the staff after repeatedly escaping its enclosure. Even more perplexing was that each time, it headed straight for a specific elephant enclosure, seemingly unconcerned with food or any other animal.

At first, everyone thought it was just a coincidence, but the three occurrences prompted them to review the security camera footage. The surprise was incredibly touching.

The footage showed the monkey calmly approaching the elephants. One of the females gently extended her trunk towards it, as if welcoming an old friend. The monkey then sat beside her and picked up a small flower to offer it, a rare and heartwarming scene that touched everyone's hearts. 🌸❤️

The staff then realized that the monkey wasn't trying to escape its enclosure, but rather trying to return to its only friend... in one of the most beautiful and unusual stories of animal friendship, reminding us that feelings of affection and bonding transcend species. 🥹🐾

Jupiter was rescued from a Texas kill pen just days before she was supposed to be shipped to slaughter while pregnant 🥺

Not long after arriving at sanctuary, she gave birth to Kale — a clumsy, goofy baby horse who spends his days climbing all over his very patient mom and getting into trouble.

FSO K-9 Dies After Illegal Fireworks Force Dog into the Path of Moving Vehicle

An off-duty Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy was home Saturday night with his assigned K-9 partner Santi. He was keeping the dog inside the house due to the disruption of illegal fireworks being set off in the area.

Around 8:30 pm, the deputy let Santi into the backyard to go p*e. During this time, an aerial mortar exploded nearby, startling Santi, causing him to run toward the fence, which he completely jumped over.

The deputy immediately chased after Santi, shouting commands to come back, but the continued sound of fireworks caused Santi to keep sprinting away. The deputy ultimately found Santi badly injured on the road near Shaw and Helm Avenues in Clovis. The dog was taken to a pet hospital where he later died.

It was determined someone driving a vehicle hit Santi. They did not stop and left the scene. Clovis Police arrived and interviewed several witnesses. An investigation is ongoing into this hit and run collision. Anyone with information can contact Clovis Police at (559) 324-2800.

K-9 Santi was a five year old Belgian Malinois who served with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office for four years.

Law enforcement and firefighters constantly warn residents about the dangers of using illegal fireworks, which can result in fires, injuries, distress to animals and an overall disruption to a person’s quality of life. Sadly, it is not enough of a deterrent for some as blatant disregard for the law continues.
