Drag-o-Ween for Palestine is back in Nottingham for 2026! Come down to By Our Hands We Make Our Way in Sneinton Market on Sunday 1st November to raise some funds for The Sameer Project ❤️

12TH OCTOBER LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT

Join us at 6pm at the Riley Smith Theatre to raise funds for Palestinian students who are offer-holders at the University of Leeds.

A collaboration between multiple Leeds- based organising groups. An evening of solidarity, artwork and fantastic music.

Tickets are on a Pay What You Feel donation basis - please book in advance to guarantee entry! If you can’t afford the minimum £5 online donation, you can get a free ticket and donate what you can on the door ❤️ Ticket link is in our bio.

All funds raised are going to People For Palestine’s crowd funder to evacuate the mother of Majd, a friend of the Nottingham community, from Gaza.

We’re coming to Sheffield! ⛰️

If you’re based in Sheffield and want to get involved, please message us or go to the form in our linktree! We’d like to build a bigger team to put on the best events we can and welcome whatever you can bring :)

YMFP started in Nottingham 2 years ago and have since branched out to Leeds, and now Sheffield! In that time we’ve raised over £20,000 for projects in Gaza through small scale community events ❤️

Our main focus is raising funds for The Sameer Project, a mutual aid initiative run by Palestinians in the diaspora. Currently they are asking for people to commit to monthly donations so they can provide consistent longer term support and restart paused operations. Please do so if you can, even £1 a month helps - you can go to their page to find the JustGiving link for UK donors (which adds 25% GiftAid) 🇵🇸

Our main aims are encouraging art for political change and supporting Palestinians long-term through raising funds for survival and directing people to action for liberation. We aim to run inclusive events - please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to make our events more accessible to everyone!

31st of July at The Grove Notts. Young musicians for Palestine: 2 years of fundraising raised... £559.37!
This was such a lovely gig, filled with people who have supported us over the past few years, as well as some new faces! Thank you to everyone who came and helped us make this another successful event.
This amount is being donated to The Sameer Project's Food and Water Campaign.

Please Note! We donated the first installment as soon as we got it and will be donating ticket money when it comes through. While the Sameer Project has paused much of their activity, we know they will be continuing when they have the funds to do so and we will be continuing to fund for them during this time. If you can help them by one-off donating, or even better, by setting up a monthly payment, please do so. Even a small amount will help get them going again.

Thank you so much to the organisers for having us at another incredible market! So much work goes into each one and it was so kind of them to offer us a free spot for our fundraising. This money has been donated to the Sameer Project's Food and Water Campaign.

EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT!!
✨ Young Musicians for Palestine: 2 Years of Fundraising!✨

This July, we have officially been fundraising for over 2 years! This time feels so bittersweet. Whilst we hold in our hearts the fact that this never should have been needed and that all the suffering we are trying hard to soothe is still going on, we also want to celebrate the consistent, generous support of our community, who have stuck with us every step of the way.

Please join us for another amazing night of music, crafts, baked goods and solidarity at the Grove in Sneinton market. On the 31st of July, 6-10pm, we will have two transcendant solo set from Solstice and Albatross, followed by an acoustic set by the spectacular Sunny Side Down :), and ending this glorious night with the fabulous q***r punks .
