Nottingham Irish Studies Group

Voluntary community group, promoting Irish culture in the East Midlands. Occasional events on Irish history/ literature/ politics / culture / storytelling.

We run talks, workshops and informal sessions using group skills. We have run recent sessions on Irish history, literature, drama, Gaeilge (the Irish language), and storytelling. We welcome others as audience or presenters. Our speakers are willing to travel to present talks/workshops/storytelling for other Irish arts & culture groups in UK. We set up and admin East Midlands Irish Forum facebook group, to network with Irish groups and individuals in the region.
