Have your plans changed? Life not going as expected? These days many courses can start at any time of year, so a new start can be whenever.

If you're seeking new skills, completing training, or preparing for employment but have financial barriers, we might be able to help. 👩‍💼

At Y-NOTTS, we provide grants to help young people aged 16–30 in Nottinghamshire access training, equipment, and development opportunities that improve their future prospects.

And if you work with young people who may benefit from this support, we encourage you to share our funding opportunities with them.

You’ll need to submit a business plan with your application. 🧠📝
If you’re applying for funding or support through Y-NOTTS, a clear, costed business plan is a key part of the process. It helps you:

✅ explain your idea, , including research in the relevant marketplace
✅ show how it will work
✅ demonstrate you’ve thought it through
✅ strengthen your application

If you’re aged 16–30 and based in Nottingham or Nottinghamshire, Y-NOTTS can support your journey into self-employment - just make sure your application includes a solid business plan. 💡✨

⚽ From idea to impact.

With the right support, a passion can become something truly powerful. Through Y-NOTTS funding, Katie was able to launch , creating fun, consistent sessions that keep children active and connected in her community.

The funding enabled me to purchase all the necessary equipment and secure sports halls for weekly sessions, making it possible to run consistent and effective weekly activities.

Lovely to catch up with The Pythian Club.

Our chairman, Lynne Morgan, was pleased to reconnect with the team we supported with a £2,875 grant back in 2017. It’s always inspiring to see how far they've come — especially their continued focus on supporting NEET young people through access to IT equipment and training. 👏
