With over 15 years experience of working within television, theatre and dance, FDP promises to bring you professional training in the arts, but in a fun and non judgemental environment. We believe in giving children the tools to express their creativity, whilst nurturing their talents and developing any dreams they may have. Here at FDP, we encourage all children regardless of age, gender, race or

ability to come along to any of our lessons. Principal, Stacey Gaunt is a fully qualified I.S.T.D teacher with years of experience both as a performer and choreographer. Stacey was a semi-finalist alongside partner JP Omari on BBC 1 Saturday night television programme “Strictly Dance Fever”in 2006. Stacey has worked extensively throughout the UK as a free-lance teacher and choreographer, and is very proud to include ITV X-Factor runner up, Marcus Collins as a former pupil. FDP also has a team of fantastic teaching staff, all professionals in their field and regularly invites guest teachers in to pass on their wealth of knowledge to the students. Here at FDP we are trying to do something a little different. Although Stacey Gaunt is a trained I.S.T.D teacher no official examinations will be taken, the children will learn set exercises every week that will improve their technique. Instead, we believe that children develop quicker through participating in lessons that are predominately “free work” based. Often the children will learn far more advanced work during these classes than set syllabus, and thus reach a much higher standard in a shorter space of time. It also helps the dancer/performer keep the interest and enthusiasm for much longer. Most performing arts school in the USA follow the same process, and the results are phenomenal. We wanted to say a huge congratulations to our amazing festival team that competed at the All England Regional finals in Manchester last week! Our small but mighty team qualified 38 dances for the All England National finals in Eastbourne✨ We are incredibly proud of every single one of you 👏🫶
