This Saturday, the 6th of December, sees the return of the Victoria Repair Cafe, repairing the treasured possessions for the West Bridgford community. Based in the Holy Spirit Social Centre on Victoria Road, we will open our doors at 10:00am.

Do you have clothes that need repairing or altering? Have you discovered that your Christmas lights no longer work? Do you want your gardening tools sharpening ready for next spring? As always, our volunteer experts will be on hand to repair your treasured items.

All we ask for is donations when we repair your item based on what it's worth and what you can afford. Any surplus is donated to charity. Strictly a maximum of 2 items per person.

Come and see us at the Holy Spirit Social Centre on Victoria Road this Saturday. Last admission 12:30.

This Saturday, the 4th of October, sees the return of the Victoria Repair Cafe, repairing the treasured possessions for the West Bridgford community. Based in the Holy Spirit Social Centre on Victoria Road, we will open our doors at 10:00am.

Our volunteers will be on hand to repair electrical items, clothing, jewellery and ornaments as well as sharpening your garden tools ready for Spring. As always, our general repairers will be happy to look at anything else you bring to us for repair.

All we ask for is donations when we repair your item based on what it's worth and what you can afford. Any surplus is donated to charity.

Strictly a maximum of 2 items per person.

Victoria Repair Cafe tomorrow at 10am

Tomorrow (Saturday) sees the return of the Victoria Repair Cafe, repairing the treasured possessions of the West Bridgford community.

Our volunteers will be on hand to repair clothing, jewellery, electrical items, garden tools and anything else you value. June always sees strong demand for garden tool sharpening, so come early to avoid disappointment!

All we ask for is donations when we repair your item based on what it's worth and what you can afford. Any surplus is donated to charity.

The charity that we will donate any surplus funds to this week will be My Bag Charity. (www.mybagcharity.co.uk)

Over 600 children and young people enter foster care in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire each year. The children usually only have plastic bags to carry their belongings to their foster carers homes. This charity provides a practical bag of comfort items to each child in this horrible situation, to try and make this anxious time a little bit easier.

Please donate generously when you attend the repair cafe this Saturday!
