π A TRULY EPIC DAY TO REMEMBER π
What an incredible honour it was to welcome The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to Epic Partners!
A truly special occasion for our organisation, but most importantly, an unforgettable experience for the children and young people we work with. π
During their visit, The Duke and Duchess met students from our Alternative Provision, taking part in some friendly games of pool and table tennis, as well as spending time getting to know the children and young people who attend our weekly community youth clubs. π±π
There was plenty of fun along the way too, with The Duke and Duchess getting involved in icing cupcakes and even singing Happy Birthday to our Co-Chief Operations Officer, Michaela! ππ
For our young people, this was a fantastic opportunity to share their experiences, showcase their personalities and create memories that will last for years to come.
π Weβre incredibly proud of everyone who helped make the day so special!
Our CEO, Pete Bewley, reflected on the visit:
βAt Epic Partners, we are incredibly honoured to have welcomed The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to Nottingham and to have been part of such an inspiring visit celebrating the work of local charities and communities.
For the young people who had the opportunity to meet and speak with them, it was a truly inspirational experience that we hope will stay with them for years to come.
The Dukeβs longstanding support for Epic Partners and the young people of Nottingham has been invaluable. His continued commitment means a great deal to our organisation and the communities we serve. We look forward to building on this relationship, developing new projects and creating even more opportunities for children and young people to thrive.β
π A huge moment for Epic Partners. An even bigger moment for our young people.
