🏆 We're BBC Make a Difference Awards Finalists! 🏆

We are incredibly proud to share that Epic Partners has been named a finalist in the BBC Radio Nottingham Make a Difference Awards 2026 in the Active Award category! 💙

This recognition means so much to us because it celebrates the amazing children, young people, families, volunteers, staff and partners who make our work possible every single day.

At Epic Partners, we believe that sport and physical activity can change lives. Whether it's through our youth clubs, mentoring, alternative provision, holiday programmes or community activities, our goal has always been to create safe spaces where young people can grow in confidence, improve their wellbeing, build positive relationships and realise their potential.

Being recognised by BBC Radio Nottingham is a huge honour and reminds us why we do what we do every day.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported Epic Partners over the years. This achievement belongs to our whole community, and we couldn't have done it without you. 💙

Congratulations to all of the other finalists, and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone at the awards ceremony in September!

💙🌟 Good Luck, Matty! 🌟💙

Today we say goodbye (for now!) to an incredible member of the EPIC family as Matty heads off on an exciting new adventure to coach at Camp America before travelling and exploring new opportunities around the world. 🇺🇸✈️🌍

EPIC is losing a truly valuable member of staff. Matty has made a huge impact on the young people, communities, and colleagues he has worked with during his time with us. His enthusiasm, commitment, and positive attitude have been a credit to the organisation, and he will be greatly missed by everyone.

While we’re sad to see him go, we’re incredibly proud that we’ve been able to play a part in his journey, helping to provide the tools, experience, and confidence to chase his dreams and create even more opportunities for himself.

Matty, thank you for everything you’ve brought to EPIC. We know you’ll be amazing in whatever comes next, and we can’t wait to hear about all your adventures.

Huge thank you to Zoe’s Farm Animals for visiting us and bringing along such an amazing range of reptiles, lizards, and insects! 🦎🐍🕷️

Everyone had a fantastic time getting up close, learning about the different animals, and being brave enough to touch some of them too! It was such a fun, hands-on experience and a wonderful opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures.

Thank you for making the visit so engaging, educational, and memorable — we loved every minute of it! 💚

Following on from our photo post earlier… here’s some of the bowling action from the day at 🎳🎥

From strikes and spares to the occasional gutter ball 👀😂, there was plenty of competition, cheering, laughs, and definitely some interesting bowling techniques on display throughout the day! 🙌

Safe to say everyone got fully involved — whether their bowling skills showed up or not! A huge thank you again for hosting us and helping make it such a fun day for everyone.
