GAMNOTTS recognises the value of each individual and the welfare of our people living in NOTTINGHAMSHIRE and the surroundings. The Association is committed to the building of a vibrant Gambian community in Nottinghamshire and its surroundings by dedicating ourselves to the pursuit of mutual understanding, love and a strong sense of culture in the spirit of fraternity. The Association shall seek to

build mutual understanding and trust amongst ourselves in the belief that we need to preserve and promote our customs and traditions of the people of the Gambia in the conduct of all affairs. The Association is also organised for charitable, scientific, cultural literary and educational purposes to help Gambians under the UK Charitable organisation act (1993), amended in (2006).
