💛HEALTHY TOGETHER ROADSHOW NEXT WEEK!💛

Join us for our Healthy Together Roadshow, a free, friendly community health event bringing together local organisations and health services! 🙌

📍 The Vine Community Centre, Bobbers Mill Road, Nottingham, NG7 5GZ
🎟️ FREE ENTRY! Everyone is welcome!

There’ll be lots to see, do and discover, including:

🧡Our Early Cancer Diagnosis Service, helping people understand and access NHS cancer screening services.
💚Our MacMillan Beyond Diagnosis service, helping people affected by cancer to access practical and emotional support.
💜Our Deaf cancer support service which supports deaf people affected by cancer.

There will also be a range of health organisations including Alzheimer’s Society, the Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID), the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Team and more!

We will also be joined by various local organisations such as the Nottingham Muslim Women’s Network, Heya Nottingham, Al-hurraya and Thriving Nottingham! 🙌

There will also be food and dancing, so come along and have fun!🤩

It’s a great opportunity to meet local organisations, find out what support is available and take positive steps towards looking after your health!💚

We’re recruiting: PCN Cancer Care Coordinator

Do you want to make a real difference for people living with cancer in Nottingham?
We’re looking for a Cancer Care Coordinator to join Self Help UK,
• Working in partnership with Clifton & The Meadows Primary Care Network.
• Support people following a cancer diagnosis
• Deliver Cancer Care Reviews & Holistic Needs Assessments
• Work across GP practices, communities and the voluntary sector

Nottingham | Hybrid | 30 hrs | Fixed term until April 2027, with possibility of extension

Self Help UK is expanding – and we’re looking for an inspiring operational leader to oversee our portfolio of cancer support services in Nottingham/shire and beyond.

In this role, you will:
• Lead and support multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred service delivery
• Work with NHS, Macmillan, ICS, and community partners
• Drive performance, quality, and operational excellence
• Contribute to strategy and future service development
