1st Chilwell & Attenborough Scout Group We provide life changing adventure to 4-18 year olds in Chilwell, Attenborough and surrounding areas.

We're after a few new volunteer trustees.

Behind every great year of Scouting — the camps, the badges, the fire in this photo — there's a small team keeping the finances healthy, the hut standing and our young people safe. That's our trustees.

It's about five meetings a year, plus the odd email. No camping required.

This week Cubs visited Trowell Garden Centre to work on their Gardener Badge. They planted strawberries, learned about seasonal fruit and vegetables, the correct tools to use in the garden and how mini beasts can help our plants!

💦 We’ve had a jam packed morning with kayaking, canoeing and lots of splashing!

Great to be back this evening with Archer’s Explorers 🙌🔥

First night of the term and we jumped straight in with some fun planning activities… not just chatting, but building real 💡 teamwork, decision making, brainstorming, facilitation exercises and leading ideas.

Some brilliant ideas already coming through 🚀 including launching our new social media channels (watch this space 👀), fundraising plans 💰 and ways we can serve our local community ❤️

It’s shaping up to be a cracking term… can’t wait for what’s ahead! 💪🌍

Happy Easter from Red and Grey Squirrels at 1st Chilwell and Attenborough 🐿️ 🥚

We’ve had a wonderful start to two fantastic dreys at our Group and we celebrated the end of term with an eggcellent egg hunt and investing our newest Squirrel Scouts.
