This is the journey of a vision I had, to create an alternative arts and crafts provision in the Nottingham area, hoping to provide a service for young people and the community. My hope for the centre was to provide a safe open space forthe community to use as a common ground, to build and strengthen existing relationships and celebrate culture. The academy provides one on one support to young peo
ple in performing nasheeds, developing their vocals to a level where they are ready to make their own records. We also provide our learners a platform on which they have the opportunity to take part in nationwide concerts & build networks with influential people from the industry. We are one of the few academies that teach Arabic, our tutors will teach you how to read, write, speak and understand the Arabic language. Our experienced, native Arabic teachers will make studying a difficult language an easy and enjoyable experience. We also offer henna and calligraphy courses, exploring traditional Arabic art and reflecting on the beauty of Arabic lettering. The academy provides a peaceful atmosphere for all students to learn, socialise and open opportunities. We aim to bring out the best in the community and find an area in which they truly excel, we would like to invite you to our academy and support us in sustaining this innovative venture.
