Today marks ten years since Jo Cox was tragically murdered in the heart of her constituency.

Jo believed strongly in kindness, connection and bringing people together. Out of such heartbreaking loss, The Jo Cox Foundation has continued her legacy by encouraging communities to come together and helping to make public life kinder and safer.

This Friday, we’ll be holding our Jo Cox Memorial / Great Get Together event at Sherwood Community Centre.

Join us on Friday 19th June, 3:30–5:30pm, for a friendly community gathering with simple activities, refreshments and a chance to connect.

Everyone is welcome - we’d love to see you there. 💕

Sherwood Community Garden is one of the official Sherwood Open Gardens participants. Entry is £5 and gives access to a range of gardens throughout Sherwood today ( 13th June) 12-6pm

Get yourself ready for the longest day!

This will be my 3rd year and I cannot wait to be fresh back from Thailand with more tribal beats and sunshine activating sounds to welcome in the summer!

Starting with a beautiful heart opening cacao meditation, inviting gentle stretching and movement into the body as the tempo builds and we flow into free form dance. Once we've shaken off all no longer serving us, it's time to lay down and get comfortable with a gentle gong bath to relax and recover.

Limited tickets so book now!

£30 including cacao, snacks and iced herbal teas. Bring a camp/yoga mat or recliner, blankets and pillow and I recommend an eye mask for these lighter evenings.

🌱 Sherwood Open Gardens – Saturday 13 June 🌱

As part of Sherwood Open Gardens, the Sherwood Community Centre Allotment Garden, hosted by the Sherwood Community Gardens Group, will be open from 12pm–6pm.

Come along to explore our community growing space, learn about growing plants, fruit, vegetables and flowers, meet members of the Sherwood Community Gardens Group, and browse the plant sale.

Our seed bomb making activity will be taking place outside Sherwood Community Centre and is free to attend. No booking is required- just drop in and join us!
