Volunteer Project Manager Opportunity(SForCe)

United Ventures Nottingham (UVN) is seeking a motivated individual to serve as our Volunteer Project Manager for the upcoming Skate for Change initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in volunteer coordination and community engagement, even if you don't have prior project management experience.

As the Volunteer Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Recruiting and onboarding a team of 9-15 volunteers
- Developing and implementing volunteer training programs
- Coordinating volunteer schedules and task assignments
- Serving as the primary point of contact for volunteers
- Monitoring and reporting on volunteer engagement and project progress
- Collaborating with the UVN leadership team to ensure project goals are met
- Identifying and addressing any challenges or concerns that arise

The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- A positive, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with basic project management tools and techniques (preferred but not required)
- A passion for community development and social impact

This is a volunteer position, but you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop new skills, and make a meaningful difference in your community. If you are interested in this role, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant qualifications and interest in the position.

This is part of the reason we started United Ventures Nottingham C.I.C to support those who have multiple levels of responsibility.

It can be so overwhelming and impact in ways many don't understand.

Parents are overwhelmed and our communities are exhausted.

Together we can create place and spaces that combine support and resbite for our community's to better thrive.

Hello, creative minds!

We're looking for your input on our range of activities and session timings. Let us know what works for you and if there are any new creative wearable and usable crafts sessions you'd like to see, such as art, design, sewing, drawing, painting, textile art.

💷 Pricing Information: Prices vary based on the type of work, ranging from £5-£45. We also offer subsidized sessions whenever possible, depending on available funding.

With great sadness are having to clear our premise, completely the back end of 2023 ripped massive opportunities away. Trying since pouring every personal resource possible to get going but it just wasn't enough for this obstacles just to much to repair and re furnish.

We've applied for funding, sort loans and attempted to raise funds and been unsuccessful.

We have a few items that may be of use free to collect from 196-198 Mainstreet Bulwell NG6 8EH. Photos to follow soon .

If you have to spare time on your hands please reach out as we could do with some help.

We look forward to finding need opportunities together in and around our communities.

True Roots Caribbean Growing Workshops Thank you to both organisations for everything.

We came across many different obstacles but together through, conversation and communication we overcame .

Our UVN team hosted and created a fantastic atmosphere for all to learn, grow and sow.

Organised an led by Saskia and the Hurricane Relief team in London.
