🐈 STRAY CAT:URGENT 🐈‍⬛
Furthering from our post yesterday, we are releasing an image to help identify an owner.

We have had an unwell stray cat handed into us 21/7 and are appealing for help locating an owner. They are a grey entire male with tabby like markings. They do not have a microchip however are wearing a collar with no identification tag. They were found near players road NG7 area.

‼️☀️EXTREME HEAT WARNING‼️☀️

We are seeing ever increasing amounts of heatstroke cases at the hospital. Unfortunately heatstroke can be fatal. The current heatwave is expected to continue for a number of days and possibly weeks.

If your pet is booked in for a routine appointment during the heatwave, we would strongly advise you to consider rebooking this for safer and cooler days. If your pet is booked in for an urgent or emergency appointment, we would STRONGLY advise against walking your pet to the hospital, please use taxis where possible. If you are driving to the hospital, please ensure the vehicle has working air conditioning.

Due to a fire at a nearby recycling centre on Radford Road, the road will be partially closed for some time. Please contact the hospital if you wish to reschedule your appointment. Our car park will be inaccessible during this time.

☀️Heatstroke☀️

Temperatures today and over this week have been soaring and can be extremely dangerous for pets, it’s so high our thermometers can’t even read on the pavements.

It is important to avoid walking dogs and keeping all animals including cats and other small furries etc out of the heat.
