It’s not long until we re-open again👍
Tuesday, September 8th at 12 until 5pm.
Occasionally , it is useful to remind you about how our organisation exists.
1. We are totally volunteer run , we have no paid staff.
2. We DO NOT own our premises .We rent them and like you have all the additional expenses like rates, bills, insurance etc.
In fact it costs us about £200 a week to remain open 😲
3. Membership payments are vital , as they form the main source of our income. The membership is an annual payment.
PLEASE check if yours is due for renewal.🤔
4 We do not receive any grants.
Funding streams are limited for all organisations and lots will not cover core/ running costs, which is what we need. ☹️
We keep our eyes open for potential ones.

5. Thank you for those of you who purchase our pre cut shapes etc from our
“shop” and another thank you if you pay with cash.
We appreciate that , due to the pandemic, shopping habits have changed with paying via your phone or card is the norm.
Did you know though that every time you do this, wherever you do , the retailer/ organisation loses a percentage of your payment in interest payments? 😲
For us literally every penny counts , so if possible ,we prefer cash payments.
6 We are registered with Easyfundraising .
If you shop online did you know you can support us at no cost to you?
You set up an Easyfundraising account and choose us as your cause and shop via that .
Numerous retailers are part of this initiative i.e. Amazon etc and will donate a percentage of your purchase price to us.
