We are here for anyone living with cancer, and their family and friends, across the East Midlands.

Maggie’s Nottingham provides free practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer and their families and friends in the East Midlands, offering a programme of support that has been shown to strengthen physical and emotional wellbeing. Built in the grounds of Nottingham's City Hospital, the Centre is a warm and welcoming place with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need to find their way through cancer. Maggie’s Nottingham is a place to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; a place where qualified experts provide emotional support; a place to meet other people or simply to sit quietly with a cup of tea. Their target was £300, but they absolutely smashed it and raised an amazing £1,220! 🎉🙌

We’re hoping to give the garden a beautiful splash of colour next spring and would love your help.

We’re appealing for donations of orange tulip bulbs to brighten up our garden and create a lovely, welcoming space for everyone who visits.

If you’re a garden centre, a local business or simply have some spare bulbs you’d be happy to donate, we’d be so grateful for your support. If you would like to donate please do just pop them into the centre before November 9th and we will get them planted in time for spring.

It would be wonderful to see our garden bursting with beautiful orange tulips come springtime! 🌷

And a heartfelt thank you to our amazing cancer support specialists for their dedication, compassion, and collaboration during the recent Gynaecology Cancer Awareness Event.

A special thank you goes to the wonderful Gynae Cancer Specialist Nurses and Karen Williamson (Consultant Gynaecologist), whose expertise and passion made the event a great success.

Together, our teamwork with other services helped raise vital awareness, provided comfort and information to those affected, and created a safe, supportive space for open conversations. Events like these truly show the power of collaboration and care.
