There is an upcoming Ride Leaders Course in March. Details here if anyone is interested

“We are looking for individuals to undertake British Cycling’s Level 1 Guided Ride Leadership course and to deliver some voluntary rides throughout the year across Rushcliffe.
The course is free for anyone to attend and you will receive British Cycling annual membership and some branded clothing, as well as a first aid qualification. In return, all we ask is that you deliver eight voluntary rides a year to encourage others to give cycling a go.
The course will take place at Rushcliffe Country Park on Sunday 19th March, 9am – 5pm and will include a classroom element as well as a practical one where you will be out and about riding on the roads. Attendees must be comfortable at riding a distance of at least 10 miles and must have their own bike and helmet.
If you are interested, please contact Amy on [email protected] or Stacey on [email protected]

Anyone know of anyone having their bike stolen?

Kirkby NPT Update:
The Coxmoor Crew have been out again showing our new PC, PC POXON, the sights of Kirkby.
Whilst out they came across two youths sat on a park bench on Kingsway Park.
All seemed fine at first but the tables soon turned when the Kingsway two decided to run off after officers challenged them for smoking what they believed to be Cannabis.
PC Roberts was in hot pursuit but the Kingsway two were just too quick on this occasion however, not all was lost as a bike and Cannabis grinder was taken from them that they had left behind in their great escape.
Below is a picture of the bike that was recovered, if you recognise this fine mode of transport as yours then please do get in touch with us and we will arrange getting it back to you.
