💛 PAINT IT YELLOW FOR MARIE CURIE 💛

What an amazing and memorable day fundraising for Marie Curie! 🌼💛

I started the day fundraising in store at Morrisons Netherfield 067, and had such a fantastic time meeting customers, spreading the word and raising money for such an incredible charity. 💛
But with the solar eclipse happening, I couldn’t resist taking the fundraising adventure a little further! 🌑✨ So I packed up and headed over to Bestwood Country Park to carry on raising funds while enjoying this amazing once in a lifetime moment.

And, of course, Tinkerbell came along too! 🐴💛 The children absolutely loved getting the chance to groom and have cuddles with her, and together we managed to raise £100s for Marie Curie! 🥰
What started as a day in the shop turned into such a special day filled with fundraising, horses, sunshine, children, the eclipse and lots of yellow! 💛🌼🐴🌑

Every single penny will help Marie Curie continue providing vital care and support to people and their families at the end

I would like to say a huge thank you to Jolly Gardener Events for putting an incredible get together from the Bestwood Lodge Hotel for the local community and also to the team of volunteers from Powdrill Drylining & Plastering for giving their time to support an incredible cause

Last night, Fay, Kelly, Sue and I were invited to the Anthony Nolan Cell Collection Centre Celebration event. The Morrisons Foundation has granted £38,000 to the project, funding a vital piece of equipment that will speed up the process of stem cell transplants. With any transplant, time is crucial — and this kit will go on to save so many more lives.

The evening was a beautiful reminder of how much Morrisons does behind the scenes. The Morrisons Foundation truly offers a lifeline to so many.

It was also a lovely opportunity for some of us Community Champions to catch up and share the amazing work happening in our communities. In such a fast-paced business, nights like these are ones we will always treasure.
