An ambitious new project to create a direct, protected, active travel route joining up communities North and South of Nottingham.

Lots of people would like to walk, cycle or scooter to get around Nottingham, but are too scared to do so. Too many of our roads are still not safe or comfortable places to be if you are not inside a motor vehicle, and people’s travel choices reflect that. Our proposal is for an active travel route between Sherwood and West Bridgford. This is the next step towards a complete, integrated active travel network throughout the city. Find out more here and get involved in the campaign.

Yesterday was a Kidical Mass Nottingham ride! Check out their page for more photos and videos.

Their rides act as a reminder that we need more dedicated infrastructure to connect communities. We need a dedicated, kerbed North South Active Travelway and we need it right now!

This coming Sunday it is Kidical Mass Nottingham. This marshalled group cycle ride shows what cycle could be like usually if there was more cycle infrastructure in the city. Our streets and our city should be safe for our children to navigate.

Last Sunday, it was Kidical Mass Nottingham. We are coming for a dedicated, safe and direct route from north to the south of the city. The process needs to be sped up.

This wonderful videos shows the numbers of families that turned up last Sunday. We need infrastructure change to make this a common occurence. People young and old should feel safe getting from A to B.

Thanks to the organisers and to all come along ride with us. Great ride and beautiful weather.Music Rock Instrument, music for creator content clip or video...

Families of Nottingham, join us this Sunday for a slow cycle to demand safe space for our children to be able to cycle. We need more dedicated cycle lanes, especially a route from north to the south of the city.
