‼️GYM UPDATE‼️

We’re pleased to let you know that from tomorrow, 02.09.2026, the Weights area of the gym will be OPEN!👏

The usual opening and closing times will apply.

We’re fully aware of the inconvenience the recent gym closure has caused and sincerely apologise for the disruption. However, your safety is always our priority, and closing the gym was necessary while we assessed the incident and ensured the area was safe.

🏋️ WEIGHTS AREA
The Weights area will be open as normal from tomorrow. Please note that the usual entrance will be inaccessible, so when accessing the Weights area, please use the double doors by Reception as pictured.

🚨 CARDIO ROOM
The Cardio Room (the usual entrance and first room)will remain CLOSED while roof repairs are carried out.

We completely understand the frustration and inconvenience this may cause and once again apologise. We really appreciate your patience and understanding while these essential repairs are completed.

⚠️GYM REMAINS CLOSED - UPDATE 1.09.26 ⚠️

We know how frustrating this is - but we appreciate your understanding during this time. Unfortunately the situation is beyond our control but we are working to get it resolved as quickly as possible and will reopen the gym as soon as it is safe to do so.

The rest of the centre remains open as normal.
Classes and private hires are unaffected and this weekends Horticultural Show and Greasley Sounds are going ahead as planned.

We will keep you updated on the gym and thank you for your patience and understanding.

⚠️GYM REMAINS CLOSED - UPDATE ⚠️

Unfortunately the issue with the leak is more extensive than initially thought, and the gym will need to remain closed while repairs are carried out.

We know how frustrating this is - we are frustrated too - and we appreciate the kindness and understanding you have shown our staff during this time. Unfortunately the situation is beyond our control but we are working to get it resolved as quickly as possible and will reopen the gym as soon as it is safe to do so.

The rest of the centre remains open as normal.
Classes and private hires are unaffected and this weekends Horticultural Show and Greasley Sounds are going ahead as planned.

Unfortunately, due to a roofing issue, the gym is currently closed.

Repairs are being carried out tomorrow morning and we’re hoping to reopen around lunchtime tomorrow.

We are doing everything we can to get the issue resolved and get you back in as quickly as possible.

We will keep you updated and confirm as soon as the gym is ready to reopen.
