Congratulations to the Class of 2026 Open Water Swimmers

Every stroke, every mile, an extraordinary achievement.

To all who faced the water this season - both those who touched the far shore and those whose journey took a different path - we celebrate your immense courage, grit, and spirit.

Our Deepest Gratitude to Our Pilots, Crew, and Observers
Behind every swimmer stands an invisible lifeline. To our dedicated pilots navigating the swells, the crew managing the deck, and the observers watching every breath: thank you. Your relentless vigilance, meticulous expertise, and unwavering commitment kept our swimmers safe in unpredictable waters. You didn't just guide the way - your hard work made these monumental dreams possible.

For anyone in the San Francisco area, there is a premiere of Erwan Le Roy's English Channel Swim. Swimming Home, a documentary about his solo Channel crossing, is having its world premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 13, in San Francisco.

The film follows the year of training and the 21-mile crossing without a wetsuit, including the support boat crew. He undertook the swim after his mother's cancer diagnosis. The screening is at the Marina Theater (doors 5pm, film 5:30pm, Q&A with Erwan himself afterwards). All ticket sales go to Gustave Roussy cancer research.

For tickets - see comments.
