Community Cafe St John's Carrington We are a small community café, open wednesdays 12-2pm located in St John's church hall.

All welcome (including well behaved dogs!) It's a great place to meet new people and enjoy soups, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, cakes and hot drinks ☕

Cafe Volunteers Needed!

The Community Cafe at St. John's in Carrington serves between 30 and 40 meals every Wednesday from 12:00 - 13:00 pm to diners from the neighbourhood. The meals are prepared and served by volunteers. The meal consists of 3 courses – soup, main course and sweet. Diners are invited to make a voluntary contribution to cover the costs.

We are looking to recruit volunteers to help us to run this successful and highly regarded project. Volunteers take part on a rota basis. We have a safeguarding policy in place so volunteers would need to be DBS checked – a process we would enable where necessary.
