✨ Meet our Constellation: dream seventeen ✨

“Finding Poetry” is a collection which merges poetry with other art forms, and plays with the age-old question: what is poetry, and how far can we push the boundary? Alongside this, the collection follows a fantasy journey, exploring the cost of becoming and how it shapes identity in the wake of loss.

To hear more from dream seventeen, as well as the 15 other rising stars who are launching their pamphlets as part of this unique event, come along to our showcase at Waterstones Nottingham on Sun 7 Dec at 3.30pm.

Tickets available from gobscollective.org.

✨ Meet our Constellation: Armor Craw ✨

"When I got into a racing green Ford Cortina 25 years ago, I didn't think that one day my parents would be gone from this world, or that the house I grew up in would no longer be something I could return to. 'In Exile' is my first pamphlet of poems; these poems are about loss, grief, trauma, truth, love and, most notably, it's about letting go... Allowing my memories of Scotland, my beautiful Scotland, to now turn up like a long-lost friend."

To hear more from Armor Craw, as well as the 15 other rising stars who are launching their pamphlets as part of this unique event, come along to our showcase on Sun 7 Dec at 3.30pm.

Tickets available from gobscollective.org.

A weekend for the (poetry) books! Celebrating 10 years of Nottingham Poetry Festival with two days of events – and our shining Cara Thompson hosting Saturday's spectacular lineup of poetry legends Lemn Sissay, Noelle Taylor, Salena Godden and Henry Normal in style. Today, we're working the stall at Metronome to grow more gobby poets.

The festival has been such a blessing for Nottingham's literary scene, and we're super thankful to the brilliant team who've worked so hard over the years to give our city another thing to proud of.

Here's to another 10 years 🥂

(Thanks to Rachelle Ruby Foster and Hongwei Bao for their photos of Saturday's event.)
