Restoration works update

With grants now secured from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Gedling Borough Council we have been considering tenders from various building contractors.

We are excited to announce that a contractor has now been chosen to repair the station roof. The next step is to sign a contract.

We are looking forward to the repair work starting in the spring of 2027. It will take several weeks.

This work is phase 1 of the restoration and transformation of the old station into a youth and community hub. We are now taking the first steps towards phase 2.

Watch this space for further updates!

We know it’s a bit early for the c word but we’re ’ho-ho-hoping’ to start planning for our annual Christmas event over the next few weeks 🎅🏽
Last year we had a magical grotto, hot chocolate, raffles, fun games and craft stalls…what kind of things would you like to experience at this years event? Tell us and we’ll try to make it a day to remember which all the community can enjoy 🎄
