Sherwood Open Gardens CIC

Yesterday was the 4th Sherwood Open Gardens since 2019. It was attended by hundreds of visitors, who bought plants, art and cake and listened to live music… Most of the host gardens had hundreds of people through their doors, who were all having such a wonderful time.

We’ll shortly be able to publish the amount we raised for the two charities (Notts Hospice and Juno Women’s Aid) but for now here are a few snaps from yesterday.

Sherwood Open Gardens is tomorrow!

🌸Join us on Sat 13 June, 12-6pm
🌱£5 entry & free for under 12s.
💚 Pick up your wristbands and stickers from any garden. These will give you access to all the gardens on the trail.
🌺 We are a cash only event. While some of the stall holders might have card readers, the garden hosts will only take cash (there are at least three cash machines on Mansfield Road).
All profits going to Nottinghamshire Hospice and Juno Women’s Aid
🌲 Pick up a brochure from the local shops and cafes in Sherwood to browse the trail before tomorrow, or head to our website. You can also get brochures from all participating gardens.
🚍 We are providing a free minibus around all the gardens (see previous post).

A late addition to the garden at 87 Victoria Road NG5 2NL, is an animal trail for young children. It's £1 to enter and get the sheet to tick off the various animals around the garden, and your child could win a small prize if they win the draw for naming the terracotta dog by the pond
