This teeny preemie vest just took a trip to Vienna (that’s a story for another time) and holding it is a new friend who couldn’t believe babies came this small…

There is something about holding a teeny vest than brings how that babies on the very edge of survival exist and that they are their families need our love support and compassion!

SuperDinky started because Beth, a neonatal nurse of 12 years didn’t think the world’s tiniest humans had clothes good enough for them. Bright enough, joyful enough. Soft enough. Ones that actually fitted teeny humans.

Mental health of nicu families has always been at the heart of our brand. We exist for nicu families and we want to change culture around prematurity and nicu from one of isolation to one of support compassion and kindness.

What can help if you are feeling low during or after NICU - seeking help via self referral NHS, asking for a referral to the mental health team, private talking therapy, medication for anxiety and depression, EMDR therapy, finding community and peer support where other nicu families are.

What do you wish existed to catch NICU families after a premature or poorly baby?

Some ideas - specific baby groups for nicu families? Nicu mums singing groups? A targeted mental health pathway?
