Give your items a second life at the Meadows Menders Repair Café this Saturday! 🛠️💚

📍 Join us on Saturday 25 July, from 10am to 1pm (last entry at 12:45pm) at the Climate Hub, 32 Turney Street, NG2 2LG.

The fantastic team of repairers will be on hand to help fix small electronics, jewellery and bikes, all completely free. It’s a great way to keep your loved items in use for longer and reduce waste.

They’re also offering clothing and textile repairs, alterations and upcycling, so bring along anything that could use a little care and attention.

We are open tomorrow (Friday) at the Bridgeway Hall Methodist Church, 5.30-6pm.

Please come and pick up some food or drop off anything you have that would otherwise go to waste.

Mural painting day with .f.w.i.h 🎨🌱

Thanks so much to everyone who came along to help brighten up the underpass. It’s now a much more colourful space for everyone to walk through, and we hope it encourages people to stop for a second and enjoy the artwork inspired by local children.

The mural was designed by .f.w.i.h using local children’s ideas of what a greener Meadows looks like. The community voted for their favourite design, then came together to paint it using reclaimed paint.

Massive thanks to Brian for bringing the design to life, and to everyone who got involved with a paintbrush 🤝

Small actions really do add up. If you’ve been thinking about getting involved in your local area, this is your sign. Together we can create greener, happier places for everyone. 💚

The first side of the underpass mural is UP! Don’t forget that tomorrow we paint the other side during our community painting day 🎨🌈

12pm - 4pm at the Bridgeway Centre
Drop in at any time during.

The design has been created by .f.w.i.h based on drawings by Meadows children, showing their ideas of a green future 💚

Bring suncream, plenty of water, clothes that can get messy, and if bringing children, please supervise them at all times

This mural was requested by the community, who then voted for their preferred design, and now will help to paint it. Come along and take part!

🎨 VOTE to choose the new Sheriffs Way Underpass mural!

We’ve been working with local artist Brian .f.w.i.h and pupils from Meadows schools to create three mural designs for the underpass

Meadows children were asked to create drawings based on the theme Meadows Green Dream: Steps Towards a Green Future, which Brian incorporated into 3 different fun & exciting proposals 🌱

Now we need your help to choose the winning design!

Green Hustle is coming up this Saturday!

You can find us in the Grow Yourself Hub in Old Market Square from 11am - 6pm, where we can help with boosting money skills, energy know-how and climate confidence. 🌻🙌

Take a picture in our peepboard, make a wildflower seed bomb, find out about our green learning programmes, the re-launch of our new Toolshare, and more! 🔨🌱💚

For those who don't know, Green Hustle is an annual festival and community project run by Nottingham-based creatives and activists, all working together to make the local green scene inclusive and drive community-led climate action.
