Members of Elton TG had a busy but enjoyable week at Poacher International Jamboree serving in the Leaders Coffee Bar.

Posh coffees were in great demand as were the scones (with cream and jam), toasted teacakes, sausage rolls and cakes. They had plenty of laughter and made friends with members of Girl Scouts USA in their team 🫖🍰☀️

Elton TG had a service camp at Elton this weekend. Their work included sanding and applying preservative to the balustrade on Downing, the wood store and the benches by Magpies Nest. They also repaired the nightline course.
It wasn't all work though as we had our AGM with a BBQ!

🕍 Beauvale TG had a fantastic evening exploring the grounds of Beauvale Priory.
They learned about the Carthusian monks, who lived a life of extreme silence, solitude, and self-sufficiency, spending their days in individual cells studying, praying, and working the land.
They also learned about the sites rich history, what happened during the Reformation and the violent executions of the two Carthusian martyrs Robert Lawrence and John Houghton and then right up until the present day with how the current owners have worked hard to develop the site.

As a cherry on the cake, members enjoyed a delicious cream tea in the tearoom. 🫖

Beauvale Priory Tea Room is open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.
