Adoption Stars Elvis and Dotty are starting the week in style! 😍♥️

If you've been to any of our visitor centres recently you might have noticed that our Adoption Stars are wearing some beautiful brand-new red headcollars!

The headcollars have been very kindly donated to us by LeMieux, and not only are they very fancy but they are field safe so our Adoption Stars can safely wear them during our open days, making it even easier for visitors to spot them.

We think they look super smart! Huge thanks to Le Mieux for their incredibly kind donation.

The sun shone, the games gave giggles and the birthday cakes were super-cool at Zippy's "We're all going on a summer holiday" themed birthday party on Sunday!

Huge thanks to everyone who came along to celebrate his special day with him, and also to everyone who sent cards and gifts too.

Happy birthday Minnie! 🎉🎂🎁

Adoption Star donkey Minnie had a hoof-tastic time celebrating her 19th birthday over the weekend at Redwings Caldecott.

Minnie, her son Mouse and her best friend Petra were treated to a pampering session from their fantastic carers before the celebrations began - check out the cute tail plaits! 😍

They then enjoyed tucking into a very tasty donkey friendly birthday cake together too! 😋🎂

Huge thanks to everyone who came along on the day to help her celebrate, and also to everyone who sent so many cards and gifts for her too, she really did have a wonderful day enjoying the extra fuss, and ear scratches, from everyone!

thought I’d share a bit more from my latest visit to Redwings Horse Sanctuary!

I spent the day with the vets, farriers and rehoming team, talked through cases like canker, and got to see Sourdough head off to her new home with handler, Felicity

If you’ve ever thought about rehoming a horse, take a look at the amazing horses waiting for their forever homes and if rehoming isn’t for you, you can also adopt a horse which is a great way to support them! 🙌🏼

This might be one of the most rewarding uses for the kit yet ❤️

After seeing that I’m a Redwings Horse Sanctuary ambassador, one of my followers very kindly bought an Emergency Shoe Removal Kit and donated it to their Rehoming Team.

They have a pony in training who is nervous around the farrier, so Lucy will be using the tools to help them slowly build confidence around farrier equipment and prepare for life in a new home.

Such a thoughtful donation and a use for the kit I hadn’t even considered when I created it 💙 thank you
