How can we be an influence for good online? This is one of the topics discussed in this week's episode of Sounds of the Sanctuary with special guest Riding With Rhi ♥️ 🎙️

S4E3: Infleuncing for Good - https://open.spotify.com/episode/5gi8fTtV0xH2Bzo5M2M6UY?si=c4bdc1b1fab54530

Rhi is an online content creator, has her own podcast and is one of our Ambassadors! So we were very excited to sit down with her to talk about looking after yourself and your horse when making content, the rise of horses in marketing, and the red flags you should look out for when watching viral videos that involve animals 🐴

‼️ An important update for everyone who follows Redwings Horse Sanctuary on Facebook ❤🐴👇

One of our wonderful has made us aware of a page that is pretending to be us.

None of the horses featured on the page are ours, and there is a Go Fund Me link on the page which is not affiliated to us either so please do not click on it.
The page has around 15k followers but a lot of them appear to be fake accounts too.

We have reported the page to Facebook and we would kindly ask that if you come across it on Facebook please could you report it too?

If anyone would like to make a donation to our rescued residents you can do so through our website. We will share a link in our comments.

Thank you so much for being so wonderful and for all your kind support ❤🐴

It's time for some more donkey pen pal mail! Rodney was so pleased to receive a reply from the lovely Thomas at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary that he just had to share it with all his friends ♥️

The impact of fireworks on horses and ponies can be frightening, and Redwings is working to make a difference. 💜

We caught up with Helen from Redwings Horse Sanctuary to find out more about their education and campaigning work, including their campaign to raise awareness of the impact fireworks can have on horses and other animals.

As our 2026 Charity of the Year, we’re proud to be highlighting the important work Redwings does to improve the lives of horses and ponies.

Last year we published some incredibly scientific* research on the impact of donkeys and visiting Redwings on your mood, and the results may (not) shock you... donkeys do improve your mood! ♥️

Looking for a mood boost this ? You are invited to donkey Adoption Star Esther's birthday party 🎉 Join Esther and her donkey friends on the 25th October at Redwings Caldecott to help her celebrate turning 19 years old!

Meet Bane, one of the lovely ponies at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, who, along with others like him, is looking for a new home. 💜

Redwings ambassador and farrier Sam Dracott joined us on a visit to their main site in Norfolk to meet Jude and the team, and find out why rehoming is such an important part of the work they do.

As our 2026 Charity of the Year, we’re proud to be shining a light on the incredible work of Redwings and the difference they make to horses and ponies in their care.

Could you offer a pony like Bane a home?
