Move On : People say ‘move on’ because they are uncomfortable with grief, not because grief has an end point. I get you .A parent does not move on from the loss of a child. You learn, somehow, to carry unbearable love and unbearable pain at the same time.My brain and heart are still in the moment my daughter took her last breath, and now with son gone too, grief does not simply disappear because time passes. ‘Move on’ feels dismissive because it ignores the reality that loss changes a person forever. What I am doing is not refusing to live — I am learning to navigate life in a world that no longer looks the way it once did. I am surviving, adapting, and carrying memories that matter every single day.I do not need to be told to move on. I need understanding, patience, and compassion. You move on from places, jobs, and phases of life. You do not move on from losing people you love. You learn to live around the grief, but it remains part of you.Love you all Shalom 💙
