While we still miss having the bus in the time we did we helped so many people get off the streets.

We carry on helping so many people every week with our 3 outreach homeless sessions, community food and clothing bank and our advice line.

Shocking that your working and become homeless with no help from the local authorities.

Today we welcoming a new person on board while we try get them more permanent accommodation.

This is where your money goes if bus wasn’t here this young girl would be sleeping on the streets of Norwich tonight instead she has a warm bed, access to a hot drink and meal.

Massive thank you to Tony Tony's Discount Deli for a great donation of sausages this week. We gave a load out in foodbank, there will be sausage sandwiches for the homeless and vulnerable next week and hot dogs for them at the weekend.
You can find Tony at Sprowston Park and Ride car boot on a Sunday morning, he always has great bargains. Lorraine ###

SATURDAY OUTREACH

Another busy night tonight. As a team on a Saturday we always worry that we don't have enough time to give to the guys we meet.

Everyone is hungry and wanting a hot drink so sometimes it feels like a production line. However, tonight we realised that even in the crazy busyness of the city on a Saturday, we do find the time to listen, to share stories, to laugh, to comfort and support.

Tonight, along with the usual food giving and chit chat, we listened and supported someone grieving over the very recent loss of a loved one,

helped an older gent who was new to the streets, found water for a chap who had been squirted with bleach the day before,

encouraged a guy with a stab wound in his arm to seek first aid (he wouldn't let me cover it) and called one of our regular friends to check on him

after hearing he'd been beaten the night before. It's also important to say we had lots of laughs and lighthearted moments with our friends tonight too.

Huge thanks to the team again tonight and to Pret and The Cornish Bakery for their donations. We couldn't do it without them.

SATURDAY OUTREACH -

Well it was a rainy one tonight.

We had our usual queue outside Debenhams but no-one hung around for long, wanting to get out of the annoying drizzle.

Everyone we saw was in good spirits and appreciative of the hot drinks tonight.

We saw a few clusters of our friends on our walk around the city tonight, mostly taking shelter where they could.

Highlight of the night was the busker near Jarrolds.

Our friends were enjoying the music and he even took requests! Lovely to hear some cheerful music.

Despite the rain we did check in with everyone we saw and took the time to chat when people wanted.

We met a final few people at the top of the market where the hot food had already finished.

We didn't have much left but managed to make sure everyone had a drink and something to eat before heading home.

The weather was grey but the team and our friends had some great laughs tonight and a little bit of dancing too. Big thanks to the Saturday team, Nikki, Daniel, Sean, Sam and Murtuza for another successful evening.

Also thank you to everyone who has brought of our amazon wish list the need is definitely getting bigger across the board.

Appeal for tents and sleeping bags please - we our completely out of tents and low on sleeping bags and unfortunately the need is increasing.

Are you a business and could ask around at work.

While we can go home to our warm beds unfortunately those on the streets dont have that luxury.
