✨Chapter Meeting Highlights✨
As another riding season begins its gradual wind-down, we reflected on a busy few months and looked ahead to plenty more chapter fun before winter fully takes hold.
🏍️With the weather making regular planned rides increasingly challenging, we're preparing for our Remembrance Day Ride, which will be our final official ride of the season.
🎉Plans for our Members' End of Season Bash are gathering pace and, if the early signs are anything to go by, it's going to be absolutely epic!
🍴The Iceniors have no intention of hibernating just yet. They're aiming to continue riding weekly until the end of October, weather permitting, before switching to fortnightly lunches over the winter months to keep the gang together. Admittedly, this may involve travelling in vehicles with an alarming and entirely unnecessary number of wheels, but needs must.
📰The next edition of our Chapter Magazine will be landing soon and promises to be another great read packed with stories, photos and chapter news.
💡Several members of the committee recently attended HOG ROC, the annual gathering of chapter officers from across the country. They'll have plenty of insights, ideas and updates to share with everyone at next month's meeting.
💰Our charity fundraising efforts continue to exceed expectations. A huge thank you goes to our Charity Officers, who are doing a fantastic job collecting donations, organising activities and keeping everything firmly on track.
🧑🦰Membership remains settled at around the 100-member mark, which is excellent news. We look forward to welcoming even more riders into the chapter as we head towards a new season.
🧙♂️Finally, we'd like to extend a warm welcome to James, who has bravely, or perhaps foolishly, accepted the role of Chapter Webmaster. From what we can gather, this position appears to involve equal parts technical expertise, wizardry and dark magic. We wish him the very best of luck.
