Little Tinkers - Sensory & Messy Play Sessions

14/08/2024

I know some of your little ones love bugs so thought they might like to see this 🐛
When we returned from holiday a couple of weeks ago I found one of my plants covered in cabbage white caterpillars! We decided to pop a couple in our butterfly habitat and have been looking after them for the past two weeks feeding them leaves from the host plant and today our biggest caterpillar Fred is changing to a Pupa! Hopefully in about 10-12 days we will see a butterfly emerge! Now we just need Sid to fatten up a bit more to for him to do the same 🐛

Yesterday was our final Tinkers session and what a very very messy session it was! You guys certainly gave me one last clean up to remember 🤣 it was lovely to see you and all your little tinkers. There were lots of hugs and lots of tears but also lots of laughter and memories made including several little monkeys painting themselves green 🤣

I’m going to miss you all but I definitely won’t miss the clearing up 🤦‍♀️😆

Thanks for all your support again over the last 9 years and all the great memories and friendships made…lots of you were showing me photos of your little ones when they first started at Tinkers years ago! I would love to see them again plus more added to this post as a memory feed 🥰🥰🥰
