Today, we’re celebrating Father’s Day here in the UK. 🖤
We know many of our Sobriety Club family are checking in from around the world where Father’s Day may fall on a different date, but the message remains the same.
Today we celebrate the fathers, stepfathers, grandads, father figures, and mentors who have guided us, supported us, and shown us what strength looks like.
We also recognise that Father’s Day can be difficult.
For some, it’s a day spent missing a dad who is no longer here.
For others, it’s a reminder of relationships that were complicated, strained, or never existed at all.
Whatever today means for you, your feelings are valid.
If you’re celebrating, we hope it’s filled with love and gratitude.
If you’re grieving, struggling, or simply getting through the day, know that you’re not alone.
To all the dads in recovery, the dads rebuilding relationships, the dads breaking cycles, and the dads simply doing their best one day at a time — we see you.
From wherever you’re joining us in the world, thank you for being part of this community.
