Lex's Legacy is a dog rescue which specialises in sled dog breeds. We will also help crosses of sled dogs with non-sled dog breeds. This includes the ever increasingly popular Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute. All dogs that are surrendered or relinquished to LLDR are placed within an experienced foster home where they undergo assessment. Upon completion of the assessment, the dog will be availa

ble to be re-homed. We carry out home checks on any prospective adopter that is interested in providing a loving home to one of our rescue dogs. Where possible we will attempt to work with an existing owner with tips on behaviour and training to try to help you and your dog reach a balanced, happy home without the need to relinquish your pet.
