Calling Norwich's community organisations and local services.
Our third community Gathering is almost here, and we'd love to see you there.

Thursday 11 June, 10am to 2pm at Norwich City Boxing Club, it's a chance to connect with other local organisations, find out who's doing what across the city, and be part of a relaxed morning built on bringing the community together.

Free refreshments, free parking, no speeches, just good conversation and new connections.

If your work touches Norwich communities, there's a place for you here. Come and go as you please.

Every connection made in a room becomes evidence that can change a system. That's what NCSUN is built on, and it's why our community Gatherings matter.

For the past year we've been bringing people together across Norwich, neighbours, community leaders and local services in the same room, turning what people know and live into connections that reach further and shape what comes next. Our third Gathering is the next step in that work, and we'd love you to be part of it.

Thursday 11 June 2026, 10am to 2pm at Norwich City Boxing Club (on the grounds of Open Academy).

It's a free, relaxed morning to connect with your neighbours, meet local services and groups, and find out more about what we do as a community network here in Norwich.

There'll be free light refreshments, free parking, a Children's Corner with DBS-checked volunteers so you can have a proper chat, and no speeches or pressure. Come and go as you please.

This one comes at a moment that matters. By 2028 our councils are being replaced by a new Greater Norwich authority running health, SEND, benefits and local services, and the decisions are being shaped now. If the changes have left you with questions, come along and we'll make sense of it together, and help make sure your voice is part of it.

Everyone welcome. Just walk in.

Why not start this weekend at a Carboot in Norwich, pop to Wymondham for their Yard Sale map, drop in at Norfolk Food Hall or Easton Family Golf Centre for some lunch, and hit Easton Yard trail before home?

If you're local and want to sell, do get in touch!

We're sharing something we're genuinely proud of and equally honest about the fact that it's just the beginning.

These are the Pilot 01 editions of NCSUN's two companion publications.

The Norwich Community Anchor is free, community-facing, a crisis support hub in print. Four chapters: Food & Essentials, Crisis & Safety, Advocacy & Rights, and Dignity. Pick it up in a difficult moment and it gives you somewhere to start.

The NLE Network Magazine is £1 and open to anyone who wants it. It's structured around NCSUN's five spokes rather than traditional business pillars, because that's what we are. It covers what our lived experience intelligence is revealing about Norwich, profiles partner organisations, and makes the evidenced case for change in plain language. Every pound from every sale stays within our asset lock to fund the next print run.

Digital versions of both are currently in design and will be available soon.

Both print editions were produced on almost nothing, at very short notice, designed to DMCPL standard (plain English, high contrast, accessible to someone in crisis), and handed out at our Community Collective event on 11th February. They are deliberately early because the whole point is that they grow with each edition, shaped by the people who read them and the organisations that join us.

Pilot 02 will be available from our March 11th Professional Share-Exchange, where we'll be presenting findings from our community intelligence work to CEOs, council leaders, and MPs. Each edition from here builds on the last.

We want your feedback. What's missing?
What's unclear?
What would make this more useful to you or someone you know?

You can leave a comment here, message the page, or email [email protected]. All feedback is anonymised before it enters our Connect-EnGINE system. We never store anything that could identify you. We map patterns across responses, not individuals, and your privacy is built into how the system works, not added on afterwards.

We're also putting a call out for a few specific areas:

If you work in print, design, or publishing and you're interested in partnering with us as we scale, we want to hear from you. We're building toward a full quarterly print run from early 2027 and we want to grow our production partnerships with businesses and social enterprises who share our values.

If you have a passion for writing, photography, illustration, layout, social media, or community storytelling, our future media team is forming now. No formal experience required. Lived experience counts. Message us or email [email protected] and tell us what you'd bring.

If you represent an organisation, service, or community group that wants to be listed, profiled, or featured in a future edition, get in touch. Both publications are co-created. Your entry, your voice.

This is Pilot 01. Rough edges and all. The next version will be better because of what you tell us.

*All content is draft only and does not indicate formal partnerships with businesses or services named.

Looking for a local printers who can accommodate printing a regular (quarterly) community-wiritten magazine with the following features:
-Biodegradable or economic paper
-Braille sections / pages
-Sensory pages such as scented or different textures
-Hidden messages

And can work closely with our team on the layout and specifications. We are a community interest company, non-profit, and all volunteers currently so charitable discounts would be appreciated.

Bonus points if you can print a 4 page pilot by Monday (4 pages, text content complete but no layout yet) for an event on Wednesday 👀

Thanks!
