Pending the final numbers for The Great Norwich Pick, can we just say how amazing everyone did today? 23 volunteers picked up 22kg of rubbish in Taverham today. Unusual finds included a shoe (anyone missing one?😅) hubcap, a sign and a collection of to-go coffee mugs (like dozens!) on Fir Covert Road. We had several birthday celebrations this week so it was a good thing we had a cake on hand. Well done everyone!!

It's September! 🍂

That means one thing, it's almost time for the Great Norwich Pick on World Clean Up Day on Sunday 20th September!

Lots of local litter picking groups have signed up for this and it should be a great morning, will be interesting to see how much litter we all pick up collectively!

If you'd like to join in either as a community group (see linktr.ee link below) or as an individual attending our litter pick in Taverham (see eventbrite link below), we'd love to see you!

Our litter pick will be at Sandy Lane Recreation ground in Taverham at 11am on Sunday 20th September, see the pinned post on our page for a rundown of what happens at our litter pick if you're new and we look forward to seeing lots of you on the 20th!

We're beyond grateful for the Drayton Leisure Centre sponsoring us today. We welcomed 5 new members adding up to 19 volunteers, 13 bags of rubbish totalling over 30kg. Exciting finds included parts of a pallet, a ripped skip bag and 2 bras! A change from the usual knickers. 😅 Thank you everyone for showing up and helping out. 🙏❤️🚯
