🧩 Optional display frames available

To keep costs down, we're combining orders before placing a bulk order with the manufacturer in Germany.

🦊 FENNY FACT #7 🦊

Did you know?

Norfolk is home to the largest concentration of medieval churches in the UK, with more than 650 spread across the county.

Many were built during Norfolk's prosperous medieval period, when the wool trade brought great wealth to the region. Today, these historic buildings remain a defining feature of the Norfolk landscape, from tiny rural churches hidden among the fields to magnificent landmarks such as Norwich Cathedral.

For geocachers, this abundance of churches has also helped make Norfolk a fantastic county for the popular Church Micro series. Whether you're exploring a quiet village or a bustling market town, there's a good chance you'll find both a fascinating piece of history and a geocache waiting to be discovered.

No matter where you travel in Norfolk, you're rarely far from a medieval churchβ€”or a cache!

🦊 FENNY FACT #5 🦊

Did you know?

Thetford was once one of the largest and most important towns in England.

During the Anglo-Saxon period, Thetford was a major centre of trade and power. By the time of the Norman Conquest in 1066, it had grown into one of the largest towns in the country, and it even had its own mint producing coins that have been found as far away as Scandinavia.

Today, visitors can explore the remains of Thetford Castle, wander through the historic town centre, and discover connections to both ancient history and modern television fame as the filming location for parts of Dad's Army.

🦊 FENNY FACT #4 🦊

Did you know?

Norfolk is home to one of the most important prehistoric discoveries ever made in Britain.

In 2013, ancient human footprints were discovered on the beach at Happisburgh (pronounced "Haze-bruh") on the Norfolk coast. Dating back around 850,000 years, they are believed to be the oldest known human footprints found outside Africa.

Scientists think they were left by a small group of adults and children walking across an ancient estuary, giving us a remarkable glimpse into life in Britain almost a million years ago.

Although the footprints were quickly lost to the sea, detailed 3D scans preserved this incredible discovery for future generations.
