🎶🎻 From the social aspect to the wider skillset and the performance aspect, the benefits our students get from being part Sistema Norwich go far beyond just learning an instrument. When asked what their favourite thing about Sistema is, we got a variety of answers.

"My favourite thing is probably getting to play with an orchestra and getting to see people I don't see every day"

"I learn new skills and get ready for the future. Also I like the atmosphere"

"When I started I didn't have many friends but now I do! This makes me happy so my favourite part is all my friends and tutors."

"Getting to actually perform like actual musicians"

Your support can open doors to new experiences for local children, helping them develop new skills and improving their quality of life. Find out how here - https://bit.ly/SupportSistema

🎶😃 This week sees our new students join us at Sistema Norwich. Going into a new learning space with all new tutors can be daunting, but we pride ourselves on the quality of our teaching staff, and all they have to offer our students.

"It has been invaluable for [my child]. They had a difficult period when they struggled socially (they are autistic) and staff have been incredible at helping [my child] with their needs and building their confidence. So impressive!!!"

"[my child] has loved the Sistema journey and has felt encouraged by all staff and enjoys learning with Rob. Please thank the team for all they do each week to support the young people to be successful, happy and increasingly competent musicians."

"We believe the Sistema programme has been crucial in developing [my child]'s musical understanding and ability, which is amazing! We were not expecting the added benefit of engaging and interacting with many different tutors and students, which has led [my child] to form friendships with his peers and respectful bonds with his instructors. His confidence has soared"

"The tutors and staff are always so supportive, encouraging, and well-organized. We are so grateful for all their hard work and dedication! We are very grateful for the wonderful opportunities and positive impact Sistema has provided for my child."

As you can see, the benefits of Sistema go beyond just music, and the more young people we can take on this journey, the better. Find out how you can help 👉 https://bit.ly/SupportSistema

🎉 We are DELIGHTED this week to have received a very generous grant from the Norwich Freemen's Charity. The Norwich Freemen's Charity has been a longstanding supporter of our work here at Sistema Norwich and we are very appreciative of this ongoing relationship, and their belief in our mission to champion the growth of children and communities through music. 🎶

"She has gained confidence and is really enjoying her time at Sistema, making new friends and learning so much"

"We are very grateful for the wonderful opportunities and positive impact Sistema has provided for my child."

"The whole family loves it! It feels like such a positive, inclusive, optimistic thing to be part of. Thank you!"

"Huge improvement in confidence and playing level. Loves the opportunity to perform as part of an orchestra. Really looks forward to coming every week."

💻🎶 Norwich Summer Sessions may be over but the work carries on here at NORCA, as our tutor team reconvenes ahead of the new Sistema Norwich year to plan our delivery. With over 140 new and returning students about to embark on another year of our orchestral programme, the team put in a huge amount of work to ensure our students are engaged and flourishing both as musicians and young people.

This provision is FREE to our students to ensure the programme is open to all. If this feels like something you'd like to support, please take a look at our supporters page 👉 https://bit.ly/SupportSistema
