Fancy getting creative, trying something new and spending a couple of hours with a friendly bunch of people? Come along to Creative Drift!

Whether you're a seasoned artist or just fancy having a go, bring along your own craft project or materials and spend some time getting creative with us.

Looking for a friendly, welcoming space where you can be yourself, meet new people and connect with others in the LGBTQ+ community?

Our Space is a relaxed and supportive group for 18+ where you can chat, share experiences, get creative or simply spend time with people who understand.

💙 A little update from Mark, former Baking for Wellbeing Champion!

It’s been four months since he hung up his Shoebox baking apron after five amazing years, but he certainly hasn’t been sitting still!

From dancing at the National Dance Finals in Blackpool, to performing stand up comedy, writing plays, joining a theatre group and even supporting comedian Joe Pasquale for Celebrity MasterChef!

He’s still baking at home, with sausage rolls and cheese straws currently on the menu, and says his time at The Shoebox has helped build his confidence and enjoy retirement to the fullest.

We love hearing what our community members and volunteers get up to after their time with us.

Huge congratulations to everyone involved in our Bridges Writing Group! ✍️

This month, we wanted to shine a light on community member Rupert and his inspiring performance. His courage, creativity and determination are a wonderful reminder of what our community can achieve when we support one another.

A big thank you to Terry, our fantastic Bridges volunteer, for sharing these kind words with us. We couldn't be prouder of everyone involved. ❤️
