And pretty much, what I want to do here is to help develop, promote and link the creative talent of Norwich and people working in arts and cultural, and promote Norwich as a cultural city and tourism destination The Shift Norwich is a multi-skilled, cross-sectoral organisation which works on a collective basis to provide services that will develop and promote Norwich as a city of culture, by using our own creative problem solving, design and project management skills.

Happening right now is the funeral of artist Bruer Tidman in Great Yarmouth at The Minster. Unfortunately I can't be there but I would like to pay tribute to this much-loved man and extremely talented artist, one of the famous Yarmouth Five, along with John Kiki, Bridget Heriz, Katarzyna Coleman and Emrys Hughes. I know he has been ill for a couple of years and during that time he posted many images of his past works. I was amazed at the quality of the work and would call him a Great Master, exceptional not only in Norfolk but also in the country - I am sure he will go down in history that way. I know that there will be many, many fellow artists at his funeral who will miss him and his generous spirit. I didn't know him that well but often used to meet him at private views - I will miss him too. A great loss fr the art world and also his friends and family. Rest well Bruer
