Sorry to say GB7NB is still not well. Will try and get to site this week to resolve.

Well an interesting few days with GB7NB on bench worked fine, back on site worked fine spoke with users on Ref 001C spoke to a local user on the Broads full output no issues

Woke up next morning and nothing from the repeater it could hear stations on network and local RF but no RF ouptut.

Back to site again and no RF output.

Back to work bench back at G4WVU's to find the Supply leg to the PA slab had broken. This had previously gotten hot (Hence flames comment) where it had shorted on the Foil surrounding the PA which is underneath the PCB which you cannot see and annealed the leg.

Anyhow mechanical repair made to that and all good 25 W out for a solid 15 mins fans kicked in thought all was good.

However power dropped to 10W and no matter what we did cannot get it back to 25W , Bias and supply all good.

2 options
Replace with Homebrew unit which will allow us to run D-STAR / Fusion / FM ,I have sourced a Kenwood TK TX and Kenwood TK Rx (different series but both UHF) would just need to purchase a STM32 Repeater Builder board from USA $100

2nd option place a separate PA in current setup, and continue with D-STAR only. Again possibly sourced a PA for this.

So for moment on reduced output.

GB7NB is back on air.
New PA and slight mod thks G4WVU to stop flames :)
Tx Mod to enable TX testing andnto inhibit TX.

Next visit to site will be for GB3NB and exciting news.......
